	^{Nason Hospital kicked off the 21st Century Capital Campaign in September 2006. Since that time, an obstetrics unit expansion and power plant upgrade have been completed. Recently, the main lobby of the hospital was refurbished with new furniture, carpeting, and wall coverings. All of these projects were made possible by generous donations from the local community. Currently being funded through the 21st Century Capital Campaign is a mural project in the hospital’s main corridor. When completed, the mural will depict local landmarks from the communities in Nason Hospital’s primary service area.}
			^{The mural is being created and painted by local artists, Deb Bunnell (left) and Kathy Mueller (right) of Kathy and Deb Paintworks. They have painted five murals together since 2001, including a wall mural at C.W. Longer Elementary School in Hollidaysburg. Both artists bring creative experience and enthusiasm to the project. In addition to working on murals and other artistic pieces together, each maintains a private studio for creating individual work and teaching art students. As well as the hallway mural, several additional projects to be funded through the capital campaign are in the planning process. These projects include improving hospital signage and entryways.}
